Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is a mixed bag: while the rooms could use a little TLC, they are small yet clean and well-presented with all the essentials for a short stay. The location is superb for accessing shops and restaurants, featuring a charming four-poster bed and lovely high ceilings with beams.
The hotel had both positives and negatives. The rooms were a bit worn and poorly appointed, making us feel unsafe due to noisy neighbors, but they were kept clean with fresh towels daily. The service was friendly but needed refurbishment. The location was convenient, close to the town center but with noise issues. The dining experience was a mix of freshly cooked delights and some disappointments. Facilities needed attention.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were a bit cramped, hot, and located on an upper floor above a lively pub with loud music until the early hours. I could hear every noise from the surroundings, making it hard to rest. However, the service, especially from the security manager and bar staff, was excellent and accommodating, even though I had to repeat myself multiple times. The location was somewhat central and convenient for the train station and the places I needed to visit. The dining options were satisfactory, although breakfast started late for my schedule. Despite the drawbacks, the hotel offered value for the money, with decent facilities available.
